Suntory Toki Japanese Whisky
A blend of Suntory whiskies from Chita, Hakushu and Yamazaki. This whisky has simple clean flavours. The mouth-feel is quite a bit oilier than I expected, from what looks to be a very young whisky. I assume this is due to the grain whisky from Chita, which seems to be the most prominent flavour profile in the blend.
Definitely recommended to anybody looking to try a simple, clean Japanese style whisky which isn’t overly expensive and goes well in a highball or with your favourite mixer.
Tasting Notes:
Nose – apple, honey
Palate – grapefruit, grapes, honey, caramel
Finish – spicy/peppery, sweet, light oak
