A sweeter, peaty, young malt from Ardbeg compared to the 10yo. This new addition to the Ardbeg core range includes sherried whiskies, in combination with intense smoke and wood sap it certainly has some complexity for a young malt. This is a punchy Islay really is its own “beast” and stands up well against the other young whiskies in Ardbeg’s lineup.
