Michter’s bourbon is one of my all-time favourite bourbons, with the 10yo expressing some of the best classic bourbon flavours available today. The oak used is well balanced and only slightly tanic. With gentle layers of flavour intermingled, this is both complex and easy to drink bourbon.

Nose – caramel, raw corn, a little grassy, slight metalic notes
Palate – oak spice, vanilla, caramel, orange peel
Finish – peanuts, caramel, pepper
ABV – 47.2%
